Just to let you know I have just moved house and will be without a home computer for the next ten weeks or so. This means I will be unlikely to post anything over that time. I will leave you with these thoughts:
Don't you think it is ironic that the EU supports democracy in Egypt, Tunisia, etc but has set up an undemocratic government in both Greece and Italy?
Does it not seem absolutely ridiculous to keep hoping that somehow the political leaders of the EU are going to sort out this mess in the eurozone? Surely it would be better to have an orderly breakup and let Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Ireland and France leave this economic prison? The only thing we can be sure of is that economics will eventually triumph over politics, and when this happens we will see a truly monstrous economic disaster.
Over the next few months the world is going to continue to watch as the EU leaders try to sort out this mess. Ultimately they will be disappointed and the EU idiots will fail.
The economic power house of the world is no longer Europe, this is the reality; until those in the EU realise this the better. But I cannot see this happening. The EU is an organisation that does not like reality, those in charge live in a bubble.
Imagine a family that was once fabulously wealthy that still lives in a massive mansion but can no longer afford to pay the bills or pay for the upkeep of that house. This is like those in the EU, it is crumbling around their ears but they are unwilling to admit that things have changed.
They continue to pile regulation upon regulation and they keep spending billions of pounds of tax payers money on keeping the euro afloat but eventually it will die. Unfortunately for us, the people of Europe we will be the ones who suffer, not the political elite who will walk off into the sunset with a massive pension and a house in the sun.
Anyway there are a few happy thoughts to keep you going.
